Advantages Of Hiring A Residential interior designer

Are you going to decorate your first house and don't know where to start? Or have you decorated it and checked over time that you didn't get too right? Don't worry, we're here to help. We've prepared 10 questions to answer before you start and tips will help you get a 10 decoration. Because an interior not only has to be beautiful, also functional, comfortable and interesting.

Every project is a world. That's why the first thing you have to do is think about the use that will be given to the space you're going to design and plan it with this in mind. For example, if you project the dining room of a family that always eats at home, they will need a large table and if it is for a person who always eats out, a simple bar will be more than enough.

Distribution is one of the basic keys to have a perfect result. Keep in mind to make way for natural light and create a fluid circulation, removing all obstacles put in between.

WHAT DO I LIKE ABOUT MY HOUSE (AND WHAT NOT)?
Every space has something good and something bad. Try to highlight its positive qualities (a glass window, fireplace, wooden beams or beautiful floors) and hide its flaws. In this bedroom, for example, the bed was placed in front of the windows so that all eyes would be directed at them.

Once you are clear about the use that will be given to a space, choose the materials that best suit it. For example, in an entrance it is better to place an easy-to-maintain floor instead of a carpet, which may be more recommended in a bedroom that we want to warm up.

IS THE INTERIOR WELL INSULATED?
It's what's least visually perceived, it's essential to isolate a room well to make it comfortable (and it may be the best investment you make). Good windows or walls with insulating padding will help you reduce all unwanted noises and better maintain temperature.

WHAT COLORS DO I WANT?
One of the best tools to give coherence to an interior is the color palette. Choose between 3 or 5 colors and be sure to use them throughout the room in a balanced way. The results will surprise you.

HOW DO I MAKE A SPACE MORE INTERESTING?
Once we have chromatic coherence inside, we need variety of textures so as not to fall into monotony and boredom. Select pieces of wood, natural fibers, stones, with glossy, rough, smooth, metallic finishes, cozy textiles... Plants can't be missing either.

WHAT ATMOSPHERES WILL I WANT TO CREATE THROUGHOUT THE DAY?
If natural light is important, artificial light doesn't fall behind either. Plan the points of light to be able to create different atmospheres depending on the needs of each moment. Always place a general ceiling lamp and support lamps on tables for more intimate lighting. An enhancer may also be highly recommended.

WHAT DO I WANT TO GIVE PROMINENCE TO?
The line between a thawed interior and the "antique shop" look is very fine. Find the balance between full and empty spaces. For example, if you want to place a sculptural lamp or wallpaper with personality, don't place other pieces that fight for prominence and end up overwhelming.

HOW DO I REFLECT MY PERSONALITY?
A home (and also a commercial premises or restaurant) is more interesting when you notice lived and does not look like a catalog of furniture. Don't forget to place pieces of art that you are passionate about, family and travel memories and photographs that make you happy and express who lives in this space.
